"Okay, what the hell is going on here!?"
Admin Post:So, it turns out being a trans woman in the part of rural Texas we just moved to is extremely demoralizing.
On top of that, GMing a play-by-post RPG (or trying to) has turned out to be a lot more effort than our preferred style of RPing, which is to meet up once a week on like Skype or Roll20 for 1-2 hours of chat/IM brainstorming and narrating. Even after everyone's encouragement, it ended up being a thing we dreaded and always felt behind on responding to, and was the first thing in our schedule to go when self-care and hikikomori-ing started eating up everything else.
On top of that, we struggled to find our footing in this setting too, and kept changing what the game's focus was going to be.
We're sorry, because you all put a lot of work into making your characters and their stats and stuff and we were looking forward to seeing what happened to them. We hope that you all have fun out there and we are glad to have gotten to know you.
