Aaah, I have a character (not for this game) who randomly hijacked equipment and bodies until he was convicted of several serious crimes and his right to inhabit anything with more than X number of moving parts was taken away. Which is a horrible punishment, but before that he was hijacking heavy equipment and forcing people to build him a body optimized for serial murder, so, uh. (He's a failed military intelligence experiment, programmed to enjoy harming people not on the "side" he imprinted on, but since he imprinted on one person, no one else is ever on his side. I don't know which government commissioned him but whoever they are, they're assholes.)
Anyway, he's in the care of his human "sister" and gets his kicks by holographically projecting himself as unnerving things, or just, you know, not projecting himself visually at all and throwing his voice so that he's always BEHIND YOU.
It's incredibly creepy. He loves every minute of it, and that is one reason his sister tries not to have guests over.
